Furthermore, Dutch animal researchers have found that “organically fed chickens develop a different process of gene expression in their small intestines than that of chickens which get conventional feed”.

They compared 2 different types of chicken, organic, and conventional, and discovered that there are huge differences in gene expression among 49 genes, where 7 of the genes aided chickens to synthesize cholesterol when just 30 genes are included in the process.

These findings were quite surprising, as only a small change can alter the cultivation method to this extent.

Also, note that your chicken should be pastured as well. Namely, a pastured chicken are allowed to grassland and has been fed on plants, seeds, bugs, worms, and the quality of what they consume affect the quality of their meat.
